Turi Beach Resort Represent Indonesia in Asean Green Hotel Award in Chiang May

Turi Beach Resort has been recognised for the commitment to the environment, receivied as the Best 5 Indonesia Green Hotel Award at Indonesia Tourism Awards 2017 . Awards certificate presented by H.E Arief Yahya , Ministry of Tourism Indonesia on 27th September 2017 at Bidakara Hotel – Jakarta

Award winners were evaluated and selected by Tourism ministry based on specific criterion including energy and water efficiency as well as waste management.
The award, which serves as a recognition of the hotel’s continued commitment and effort in working towards a sustainable future and responsible tourism that benefits guests, employees and the community including waste water treatment and management , solid waste management, energy efficiency, water efficiency, noise pollution control, air quality management, and toxic and chemical substance disposal management.

Prior reach to this national level of green award Turi Beach Resort has been awarded as “The Best Environmental Management Hotel “by Badan Pengendalian Dampak Lingkungan (BAPEDAL) – Environmental Impact Management Agency – City of Batam Government Office for 2nd consecutive time 2016 and 2017. This is show a consistency of green lifestyle happening at Turi Beach Resort.

Turi Beach Resort’s General Manager, Sumantri Endang remarked: “Turi Beach are proud and honoured as receive the Indonesia Green Hotel Award 2017. Green is a lifestyle!
